GeNarrations Sessions

Seniors in the Lakeview area are getting an opportunity to tell a personal narrative, perform it for friends and family and then attend a play at The Goodman Theatre - all for free! Renaissance Saint Luke hosts the group called GeNarrations, which is open to area seniors age 55 and up. Guided by a Goodman Theatre professional, the group discusses the current topic for each session which is based on the play running at the theatre. 

It’s a small, friendly group and newcomers are always welcome! The social interaction, creative stimulation and opportunity for personal reflection and sharing all combine to make this a uniquely engaging experience. The cherry on top is free attendance for group participants, to the Goodman for one of their spectacular live performances.

GeNarrations Sessions are starting up again on Thursday, September 28th at 10:30am. If you are (or know of) a senior who’d like to join in, come on over! Renaissance Saint Luke is located at 1501 W. Belmont (just across the street from the new Whole Foods at Belmont and Ashland). 

Keeping seniors engaged is paramount at this 55+ community, with plenty of opportunity for social programming, including inter-generational events, yoga and fitness, garden club, potlucks and much more all free of charge to residents.
