The Kids' Table Full Day Food Adventure Camps

A fun, sophisticated mix of hands-on cooking and exploring the Chicago food scene. Campers meet in our Lakeview location and then head out on a field trip for the first half of the day - to visit a farmers' market, work in a community garden, tour a restaurant or bakery, or experience one of Chicago's many ethnic neighborhoods. We travel by foot or public transit, and try to incorporate at least one service component into each week's schedule.

Campers spend the second half of each day in the kitchen, chopping, grating, mixing and rolling their way to a multi-course meal. The end result? Full bellies and broader palates, plus the skills, recipes and inspiration the campers need to recreate the dishes at home. Please see below for link to daily menus.

Registration is by week. If you're interested in single days, you can call us the Friday before the week starts to check availability.
