              Event Description:
              Our Ghostly Gus Scavenger Hunt is the perfect opportunity for you and your kiddos to dress up and celebrate Halloween in Roscoe Village! Ghouls of all ages are invited to join us! We'll be hiding Ghostly Gus in the windows of local businesses, and it’s your mission to find him! Halloween costumes are encouraged! Businesses will also be handing out Halloween treats for those who visit during their regular business hours.
               
              Print a scavenger sheet from our website (https://www.rvchamber.org/events/ghostly-gus-scavenger-hunt), or pick one up at a participating business to begin your search for Ghostly Gus. Once you’ve found Ghostly Gus in the window of each business, write the four digit secret code that’s listed on his picture in the corresponding space on the grid. After you've written the code, you can consider that space completed. When you’ve completed a horizontal, diagonal, or vertical line, or completed the entire grid, you can submit it to win a prize! To be clear, you do not have to enter a business to obtain the secret code, as it will be posted in the window, but we encourage you to stop in if you're feeling comfortable enough.

               

              Remember to be safe while ghost hunting. Always wear a face covering when outside of the house and stay six feet apart from people you don't live with. If you?re out walking, please watch for vehicles, and always cross the street in marked crosswalks so you are as visible as can be.
               

              Directions to Submit Your Grid:
               

              Option 1:

              After you've printed your grid and filled it out with the secret codes clearly marked in each space, add your name, age, address and phone number to the back and drop it in our mailbox outside our office or mail it to the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce, 3201 N Wolcott Ave, Chicago, IL, 60640.
               

              Option 2:

              You may either digitally scan or take a photo of your completed grid, with clearly legible secret codes, and email to hello@rvchamber.org with your name, age and phone number, no later than Sunday, November 1, 2020.
