Founded by Executive Designer, Angela Gianfrancesco, Stella Blue Design launched in 2008 as a wholesale-line carried at chic boutiques across Chicago. Stella Blue Design's flagship boutique opened in the Fall 2010 to offer an exclusive jewelry line, coupled with a passion for vintage/estate finds & to provide a meeting place for all things custom jewelry design. Some of the designer's favorite natural gemstones to work with include: Chrysoprase, Druzy, Labradorite, Moonstone, Rutilated Quartz, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise & Tourmalated Quartz. On a private level, Angela especially enjoys 're-inventing old into new' through her custom creations & ''Heirloom to Vavoom'' specialty services. Inspired by music, many of SBD's ''staple'' pieces are named after song titles that range from Michael Jackson to The Grateful Dead.
